J2 FTP Portal
Instructions Accessing our FTP site can
be done with any FTP software or simply use Windows
Explorer.
In order to access the site you must first have a "login"
and "password" given to you by a J2 representative. If you have not received
these two items, please request them by submitting a request through
this link.(Request "login" and "password")
If you have a
"login" and "password" then please follow the instructions
below.
Please notify our "webmaster", should you have problems
accessing the site.(email them
now)
Access
through Windows Explorer : If
using IE7 or newer you will need to access our site through "Windows Explorer",
not "Internet Explorer". Windows Explorer supports FTP access
and the site directory will show up in your "directory
tree". Follow these steps: 1. Open Windows Explorer. 2. If
you do not have an address bar at the top, then right click on the
top bar and check "Address Bar".(You may have to also un-check the
"Lock Toolbars")

3. Then type the address to the FTP
website in the address bar. It must be in the following syntax:
ftp://username@ftp.j2-usa.com..........."username
" being the one that you were
assign to by J2.


4. You should now get the
login screen, and must enter your username followed by
"@j2-usa.com". Enter the password and click "Log
On".
You
should now have access to your FTP directory.
After uploading or downloading, simply close the session of explorer to
exit.

Access using FTP
software : If using a FTP specific software,
then the following information must be entered into the appropriate
fields in the "server site" set-up screen.
Hostname: ftp.j2-usa.com Port:
21 Username:username@j2-usa.com (username is the
one assigned to you by J2) password:
use the one assigned to you by
J2

Note: A
"login" and "password" will only allow access to the directory that J2 has
set-up for you, or your company. You will not have access to multiple
directories. Anonymous logins do not have any "upload/download"
permissions.
